I Like Pizza

K there are a few stories behind this title and here they are
#1 8th grade "new kid"
When I was in 8th grade it was the "popluar" thing to ask and know who people liked. So after the new kid had been there for a little while of course someone had to ask him. Well this "new kid" was super smart but didn't always pay close attention to people and mixed things up at times, which I think worked to his advantage at times. Anyways, One guy went up and asked the "new kid" who he liked and the "new kid" responded "Pizza". It was so great. It was one of those answers you could never forget. This story was part of the insight to the next one

#2 My Brother, Brent
So the other night my brother was online and this girl had sent him a message asking him who he liked. I told Brent he should say he likes pizza, and the story from above (which I've said many times). Then later he was talking to another girl who asked him if he liked her even a little. He said he liked her as a friend. Then she said something about some other girl and he said he didn't like the other girl either. Then he said "I like PIZZA... It's DRAMA FREE!!!... not like women... free drama..." (that's the exact quote) She didn't respond, but girls... you know it's true at least sometimes. She finally responded and the conversation went as follows
girl: I wish life was drama free but that's not gonna happen now is it?
Brent: no..... so i like pizza
girl: Pizza isn't gonna do anything.
Brent: it will (and does) fill my belly... and i never go to bed hungry...
lol
girl: Can it love you?
Brent: YEAH..... it it fills my breast jk lol
He thought she had written "can you love it?"
Anyways

So this story led to another recently

#3 Facebook conversation
This guy wanted me to come up with somehting random. I told him something completely random he could share. Then I told him he could always say something like "I like Pizza". Then I told him Brent's quote.
The guy said: "You know, that would be a good quote for the record books, only the "free drama" part should specifically mention that GENEROUS tips are essential to the most explosive drama"
me" :)
The guy: "For example, you must purchase Pizza directly. With girls, you have to "purchase" them indirectly with "charm" and "good looks," and an occasional "dinner" and a "movie."
me :)
The guy: "It can be expensive sometimes."
then my mom started teasing me cuz I was laughing, but yeah
I just thought I'd share some ideas on the quote "I like Pizza" and drama in life. it's always good to hear different opinions :)

Be and Love Yourself First

How is someone suppose to know you if you don't even know you? Decide what you like and don't. Be yourself. It's one of the best things you can do for you whether you're in a relationship or not. But you can't just be yourself you have to love just being you.
Jesus Christ counsels us to "love thy neighbor as thyself". This is not just a commandment to love your neighbor but to love yourself as well. The way you feel about yourself is reflected in the way you treat others.
It's hard to find someone to love you if you don't love yourself. Although it's possible, I have noticed in my experience in life people are generally attracted to those who are (or portray themselves to be) confident in life and themselves.

Be what you are looking for....

So many of you may have heard the idea that you should have a list of what you want in a future companion. Also you may have heard that it's good to be what you want. The question now is are you now or working on becoming everything you want in a future companion. that is one thing I have always tried to do.
I think if I would have thought about this more before I might have got the guys I've met that are everything I want. I have been and am still working on being what I want. I decided I want a guy who dances so I am taking a dance class. I want a guy who apprienciates music, because my major is music. Many of the things I want in a future companion I want them because that's what I am already or I am striving to become whatever the characteristic may be. I do not think I'm the only person who does this, actually I can almost guaruntee that I am not.
I hope this doesn't discourage you from writing that list. I think it is a great idea to write a list of what you want but make it not only a list of what you want but a list of who you are and what you want to do with your life.

How this site came to be...

So I was talking with one of my friends, Adrianna Atencio (she asked for credit on the idea), discussing relationships and guys and ect. I had said a couple things, just kinda words of advice and whatnot when she finally turned to me and asked "Any other words from The Relationship Guru?" at the time I didn;t have anything else to say but I know there are lots of ideas I have that I'd like to share that might help someone out there who decided to read this. So that is the begining of this blog and my facebook group known as Words from the Relationship Guru.
